Starting from my own minimalist landscapes, which I create digitally, I started experimenting with abstract-minimalist landscapes on canvas some time ago. When I was looking for white acrylic paint, I grabbed the wrong pot and suddenly had modeling paste in my hands. I thought, why not, and put some on the canvas, and then removed it with a small special effect painting wedge. The effect reminded me of the sun, and that was the start of a series of experiments.

The picture below is one of the canvases I have done so far. So here I connect elements, which I also use in my minimalist landscapes, with a lot of texture through the use of modeling paste. It is quite a lot of work, but a lot of fun too. The small landscape is made on canvas board, approx. 24 x 30 cm. The plant is inspired by the many wild field flowers, which at the end of the summer no longer have petals, but only seed pods.
