This week, I started a new series of minimalist still lifes. The basis of this series is the use of monochrome colors: each of the illustrations has a single main color, which I have combined with variants of this color, plus white and/or black (anthracite).
Each still life features one or more vases, often with a special shape, and flowers or leaves. The plants are inspired by real plants: In the first still life it is Greek yarrow, in the second “string of pearls”, and in the third still life it is a poppy.
