This week I have a number of minimalist compositions to show, including one with an olive branch and one with a ginkgo branch.

These compositions are landscapes in their most reduced form: a plant, one or more shapes and colors. They all convey a meaning, for example “tree at sunset”.

It’s an exercise in omission. I see an image or have one in mind and ask myself what can I leave out or what must remain in order to keep the basic impression, for example “autumn landscape”?
