It’s 2021, and after a year of pandemic I’m ready for something new. Actually, I’ve been secretly working on art for a while, which is more minimalist and abstract than my paintings of the past two years.
When I look back at my landscapes and flowers of 2019 and 2020, I can see that this has been going on for some time, because I have increasingly distanced myself from details and have been more concerned with more general shapes and especially colors.
Anyway, here are the first results I dare to share: line drawings of female faces with hats, combined with simple, organic shapes.
