Abstract-impressionist painting of poppies.
The final work in my series of poppies, at least for now. I wanted to make a rather monochromatic painting, especially black, white and gray. A tiny bit of purple makes it just a bit more interesting.
The painting can very well be placed in a black and white or gray interior, but will also look beautiful in combination with colors, for example with purple or blue.
Like the preceding poppies paintings, this artwork was also made with thick, undiluted paint and palette knives, the acrylic paintings placed on canvasboard in a loose manner. The result is beautiful structures and color effects, which only occur when the paint is applied, since they are not mixed before application.
